Since the State of New York has included churches and places of worship in "Phase II" of "New York Forward" and the Archdiocese of New York has reached "Level IV" of "Faith Forward", we are happy to announce that, effective Tuesday, June 9, Immaculate Conception Church and Assumption Church will be open for Sunday Masses, Weekday Masses, Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals, and Memorial Masses. With that in mind, we must observe the following guidelines. We are excited to welcome you home!
Seating is at 33% capacity.
Entrance to the church will be through two doors.
At Immaculate Conception, use the door by the parking lot/Shrine to Our Lady and the door at the top of the handicapped-accessible ramp.
At Assumption, use the door by the handicapped-accessible ramp and the door by the Hall of Saints.
Seat locations have been marked within the church.
Face coverings, which cover both the nose and mouth, must be worn at all times, only to be removed momentarily to receive Communion (Communion is strongly requested to be received in the hand only).
Use hand sanitizer, your own or at the hand sanitizer stations located near the church entrance.
Proper social distancing (6 feet) must be strictly maintained for individuals not part of the same household.
The bathrooms in our churches will remain locked. For an emergency, please contact the sacristan or priest.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
* These Masses will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend Mass due to health concerns. The obligation to attend Sunday Mass continues to be suspended.
