The construction of our new Holy Mount Columbarium is underway. This project, when finished, will give our Parishioners -- and anyone else – an opportunity to spiritually and respectfully have their loved one’s ashes rest intact on the Sacred Grounds of Holy Mount Cemetery. There will be 1,642 niches; some are already sold. Each niche holds up to two urns of cremains. Niches are available indoor or outdoor and at these prices:

Four Sections will form the Terrace Gardens and Columbarium
Holy Mount Cemetery will soon see the construction of its new Terrace Gardens and Columbarium. After 22 years of waiting, the members of the Public Planning Board Meeting on May 23 voted unanimously to approve our proposal to restore and have opportunities to bury our loved ones in Holy Mount Cemetery (est. 1882). The Cemetery now contains over 5,500 graves and two Mausoleums on 4.5 acres of land off California Road. We had been blessed with approval from the Town of Eastchester Zoning Board and received the unanimous approval from the Town Architectural Review Board. Now the process is complete and with careful respect for the town, rules for cemeteries and stated concerns of our neighbors, we will begin enacting our wonderful plan of construction and sale of niches.
I want to thank the Parish Finance Council, the Archdiocesan Office of Cemeteries, the design team put together by W. L. KELLY & ASSOCIATES INC., Construction Management & Development Services, the Town of Eastchester and the entire Parish of Immaculate Conception and Assumption of Our Lady for their support in bringing this project to life. Much more to come in the weeks and months ahead.
